At MELON Power Solutions, we specialize in end-to-end decarbonization strategies and support clients across various sectors delivering innovative and integrated/hybrid tailored solutions that balance sustainability goals with business performance.
As a Sales Engineer, you will promote and sell these integrated power solutions to customers in data centers, hotels, commercial and industrial sites, healthcare and government facilities. You will assess client energy requirements, prepare and present technical proposals (highlighting benefits such as cost savings, reliability and emissions reduction), and work with partners and engineering teams to tailor solutions that meet customer needs. You will manage the sales cycle from lead generation through contract and provide ongoing technical support during system implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and engage potential clients (e.g. commercial buildings, hotels, hospitals, industrial sites, telecom infrastructure) to understand their power and backup needs. Assess energy usage and propose optimal hybrid solutions combining GenSets, PV and batteries.
- Develop and deliver technical sales presentations and proposals, translating complex technical features into clear customer value (e.g. demonstrating how solar+storage reduces costs and emissions).
- Respond to RFPs/RFQs and work closely with the engineering/integration teams to customize system designs per customer requirements.
- Maintain strong client relationships: address technical questions, organize site visits, and ensure customer satisfaction throughout project delivery.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical/mechanical engineering or related field. 3–5 years of B2B sales or technical sales experience (renewable energy, power generation, or industrial equipment).
- Solid technical knowledge of renewable power technologies (PV systems, energy storage, generators) and the ability to communicate these concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a customer-oriented approach. Proficiency in English and Greek; ability to travel domestically as needed.
